The FIFA World Cup 2018 group stage draw and qualification is complete and the 32 finalists have now know their fate in the 2018 World Cup at Moscow’s State Kremlin Palace which was the venue for the World Cup draw, which served up plenty of interesting match-ups.
The groupings for next year’s competition were finally revealed on Friday during a ceremony in Moscow.
The 2018 World Cup will have some seriously interesting group stage matches, with Portugal versus Spain in Group B and Belgium versus England in Group G particular stand-outs.
There are also other intriguing games to come in Group D as Argentina take on Croatia, while champions Germany must face Mexico. England have been drawn with Belgium, Panama and Tunisia in Group G at next year’s FIFA World Cup in Russia.

Group B: Portugal, Spain, Morocco, Iran.

FIFA World Cup 2018 Group Stage Draw Highlights
Group A Highlights: Hosts Russia play Saudi Arabia in the World Cup’s opening game in Moscow. Hosts Russia begin the competition with a fixture against Saudi Arabia, and they will also tackle Egypt and Uruguay.
Group B Highlights: European title winners Portugal have been handed a tough group that includes top seeds Spain, Morocco and Iran. Neighbours Spain and Portugal will meet at next year’s FIFA World Cup.
Group C Highlights: Group C has France, Australia, Peru and Denmark.
Group D Highlights: Nigeria are in Group F with Argentina, Iceland, Croatia. Argentina are in Group D and will open against Iceland. They are also in with Nigeria, the fifth time in the Super Eagles’ six World Cups they have been drawn in a group together and Croatia.
Group E Highlights: Brazil are in Group E with Switzerland, Costa Rica and Serbia. Brazil, meanwhile, find themselves pitted against Switzerland, Serbia and Costa Rica in Group E.
Group F Highlights: Defending champions Germany were drawn with Mexico, Sweden and South Korea in Group F. Holders Germany are in Group F with Mexico, Sweden and South Korea while five-times winners Brazil are in Group E alongside Switzerland, Costa Rica and Serbia.
Group G Highlights: England have been drawn with Belgium in Group G for the 2018 World Cup in Russia alongside and have been paired with Tunisia and Panama.
Group H Highlights: Group H contains Poland, Senegal, Colombia and Japan.
