JAMB Direct Entry Candidates Mode Of UTME Is Aptitude Test For 2017/2018

The 2017 JAMB Direct Entry candidates will write Aptitude Test Examination which would serve as a replacement of the General JAMB CBT Test only for Direct Entry candidates. This is according to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB’s Head of Public Relations that it is a different examination format of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME Test.

The 2017 JAMB DE candidates should prepare for the Aptitude Test to be conducted by the Universities chosen.

Fabian Benjamin, Head of Public Relations JAMB, made this known on Monday in a telephone interview, said.

“Direct Entry candidates will attempt an aptitude test which is school-based. They are not sitting for the UTME. The test is from the universities. The new book we introduced will be used by Direct Entry candidates for the aptitude tests that will be conducted by the universities.’’

JAMB Compulsory Novels For Direct Entry Aptitude Test 2017/2018, This is the compulsory book/novel to read for JAMB UTME Direct Entry Aptitude Test for 2017. The names of the book have been released by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board. The book will be used for general test to be taken by DE candidates. All candidates are to pay for it during their registration. They will be tested on this book for the 2017/2018 admission exercise.

JAMB Direct Entry Recommended & Compulsory Book For UTME 2017/2018

Candidates are to note that irrespective of their choice of course of study or method of testing, they will also be tested on these two general book.

The name of the general book is; “The Last Days at Forcados High School” by A.H. Mohammed for Direct Entry candidates only.

The book is to be read by all Direct Entry candidates in preparation for the 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, irrespective of the course of study you have chosen.

I don’t see it as a right for a diploma student to still sit for any exams any more that is outside screen which is based on respective institution of choice and that exercise enable the student to know he’s or her stance.and if the joint admission matriculation board insist that the DE sit for exam that implies that have any lowe paper i.e diploma ,NCE etc are No more valuable in our country is just like someone wasting his time in polytechnics and collage..please the person in charge of this should have a second taught and stop stressing poor Nigerian student.THANK U
