The 2016 WAEC May/June results have been released and statistics show that 52.97 per cent have credit passes in at least 5 subjects, including maths and English language. This may seem like a small number but you would be amazed to realize this is the best in the last 10 years.
The full statistics of results releases and those withheld are as follows. Some results are still pending because the West African Examination Council is still working on them. They will be released in due course.
The Important WAEC May/June Result 2016 Statistics
There is an improvement to the 31.28 per cent and 38.68 per cent of candidates who passed the five subjects in the exam in 2014 and 2015 respectively.
Of all candidates who sat for the examination, 1,393,907 candidates representing 90.26 per cent had their results fully released, 158,718 candidates, representing 9.74 per cent, have a few of their results still being processed due to some errors.
These errors are mainly traceable to the candidates and schools in the course of registration for the May/June Exam or while writing the examination.
