The UEFA Europa League Award Prize Money Fund Increased by 65% For 2015/2016 Season Onward as the UEFA Europa League has announced a 65% increase in the award prize money fund for UEFA Europa League for the next 3 year cycle starting from 2015/2016 season. This season a total of €381 million will be distributed among Europa League teams and here is the complete breakdown of distribution model.
UEFA announced increase in prize money pool for both UEFA Champions League and the Europa League for the next three year cycle starting from 2015/2016 season onwards. Champions League of course is the premier competitions and around €1.257 billion is distributed among champions league participants and the playoff teams. While Europa League is no where near as lucrative as Champions League there is still some money to be made for clubs who can reach later stages of the competitions.
Europa League 2015/2016 Award Prize Money:
UEFA Announced 65% increase in total prize money pool of Europa League from 2015/2016 season where a total of €381 million will be distributed among Europa League teams. The prize money fund is divided into two parts.
A). Performance Related Payments(€229 million):
This pot is distributed among all europa league participants on how and where they finish in the competition.
B). Market Pool Payments(€152 million):
distributed according to proportional value of domestic tv market from which the club is from. For example Teams from England, Spain, Germany get larger chunk while teams from Ukraine, Belgium etc get less money.

€200,000 for first qualifying round, €210,000 for second qualifying round, €220,00 for third and €230,000 for play-off losing teams who won’t qualify for group stages.
€2.4 million (Guaranteed)for each 40 teams who play in the group stages

It depends on what country the club comes from and how many matches they play in the competition. Market pool for english clubs is higher due to english tv market while club from greece or Israel will get a lot less from market pool
Winner of 2015-16 Europa League can earn between €15 to €17 from “performance related” pot. Plus Market pool money which can easily elevate total earnings of winners from England, Spain, Germany or Italy around €25 million (prize money + market pool)
