A list of what you should take to the JAMB exam Hall for your coming Exam, which starts on 27th Feb, 2016, is now available.
By now, every candidate knows that the exam is completely Computer Based Test (CBT) so it is expected that you at least know how to use a computer mouse and how to click on things on your screen. It is very similar to tapping a link on your phone but this time, you will be tapping the left button on the mouse.
Please ensure you have at least 3 practice session with a computer system before your exam day. You need adequate practicing of the JAMB CBT past questions on a computer because it’s a CBT environment and is similar to what you can expect on the actual exam day.
Please note that, according to JAMB, you are not required to take any other item apart from what we are listing for you below;
As for the list of items you are required to take to the exam hall and what you should take note of, they are as follows;
- 1. You need at least 2 printed copies of your JAMB exam slip. You will be required to submit one (1) of the slips to the invigilator. You will keep the other one for your own reference. If you have still not printed your JAMB Exam Slip, please click here for procedures
- You need a Pen (Biro). We believe this is used for your rough work, especially for candidates dealing with calculation subjects.
Please ensure Your Biometric (Thumbprinting) Verification is done at the examination centre because it is COMPULSORY. If it is not done, ask for it.
If you miss your Schedule (Exam Date and TIME), you forfeit the right to sit for the Examination.
BAGS, MOBILE PHONES, CALCULATORS AND OTHER ELECTRONIC DEVICES ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE EXAMINATION CENTRE FOR SECURITY REASONS.
Please note that not everyone around the exam centre came to write the exam on that day so if you take your mobile phones or bags to the exam hall, it may get stolen or lost on that day.
Always keep an eye on your stuff, even while people are going to submit their papers. Some are very good at stealing.
Please, feel free to add your point in the comment box below.
