Valencia Choach Gary Neville | Gary Neville gets first Valencia win after 2-0 against Barakaldo

The Valencia Coach and Manager by name Gary Neville got his first win as Valencia Manager as they beat Barakaldo 2-0 to qualify for the last-16 of the Copa del Rey.
First-half goals from Santi Mina and Alvaro Negredo were enough to ensure a 5-1 aggregate victory and passage into the next round.

Elsewhere on Wednesday night, Athletic Bilbao also progressed as they thrashed Linense 6-0 to complete an 8-0 aggregate win.
Oscar de Marcos got the only goal in the first-half, but Javier Eras, Xabier Etxeita, Kiko Sola, Raul Garcia and Mikel Rico piled the misery on the lower league side after the break.

Eibar dramatically recovered from a 3-0 first-leg deficit to secure a 4-3 aggregate win and qualify for the last-16 against 10-man Ponferradina.

Jesus Berracol was dismissed for the away side after 30 minutes, and Eibar took advantage with goals from Borja Baston, Sergi Enrich and Simono Verdi, before Mikel Arruabarrena’s 85th-minute penalty made it 4-0 sent them through.
Rayo Vallecano lost 3-1 away at Getafe but progressed to the next round on away goals.

Pedro Leon, Santiago Vergini and Alvaro Vazquez all netted in the first-half for Getafe, but Alhassane Bangoura’s 52nd-minute strike for the away side levelled the tie at 3-3 and put them through.
Real Sociedad crashed out as they could only draw 1-1 at home to Las Palmas to lose 3-2 on aggregate.

Sergio Canales cancelled out Las Palmas’ opener early in the second-half, but Sociedad couldn’t get the other goal that would have put them through, and finished with 10 men after Oier Olazabal’s late red card.
Junior Lago scored the only goal in the second leg as Mirandes won 3-1 on aggregate against Malaga.
