Intel’s Kirk Skaugen revealed that the company is working on putting Core M chips inside mobile devices when he gave his keynote at IFA 2015 in Berlin.

Intel’s new Skylake processors fit inside practically any computer.

The chipmaker says it’s already testing the new processors inside smartphones too.

This development comes as a benefit for Microsoft with the windows 10 Continuum for Phones feature, one which will let future smartphones running Windows 10 transform into a Windows 10 desktop experience.

This brings users to a future where a have a single device in the pocket as the interface that connects to different screens, with full size peripherals, and even add additional processing horsepower.
